Synthetic Cinema: Experiments in the Age of New Imagination
The use of technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in film story development has become an increasingly relevant topic. AI technology is now being utilized in various stages of the creative process from generating story ideas and writing scripts to post-production. However, AI cannot simply replace human creativity, as technology lacks the ability to capture intuition, emotion, and lived experience.
There is a pressing need for discussion and the establishment of clear regulations to address these issues and prevent potential unfairness toward artists and creative workers. It is important to remember that the use of AI technology within corporations should not be driven solely by cost-efficiency. Instead, it must also consider and respect the irreplaceable aspects of human creativity.
