Ismail Basbeth
Born in Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia in 1985. He is a self-taught filmmaker, artist, writer and singer-songwriter, alumni of the Berlinale Talent Campus in Germany and Asian Film Academy in South Korea where he won the BFC & SHOCS Scholarship Fund. Since 2005, he has working in film industry then he produced and directed various short and feature films which had been highlighted in prestigious national and international film festivals. He is a producer and founder of Matta Cinema, an alternative production house which focuses on producing audience based artistic films by working with unique and creative directors for global audiences. He is also a producer, artist and founder of Bosan Berisik Lab, a non-profit foundation of interdisciplinary laboratory that empowers young filmmakers, artists and writers to create creative and experimental works on various medium. Ruang Basbeth is his publishing company also his personal room in exploring free-writing, narratives and storytelling in the context of social and cultural activities as an artist, filmmaker, writer and singer-songwriter.

Synopsis
Based on a legendary novel of the same name, Balada si Roy (The Ballads of Roy) is a coming-of-age story set in a 1980s small town called Serang. The story follows Roy, a new kid in town who tries to adapt to his new life in Serang and deals with his teenage angst. Roy is always the center of attention. He is handsome, cool, and a bit of a badass. His personality as a new kid attracts the attention of the notorious ruler gang of his new school. The attention quickly turns into tension when Roy starts to have a fling with Ani, the most beautiful girl in school. It turns out that Ani has a special place in the heart of the notorious school gang boss, named Dullah. Roy’s life starts to turn upside down. His feud with Dullah leads him to form his new gang to fight Dullah’s oppression in school.

Fajar is currently finishing his films with IDN Pictures titled "Srimulat", a biographical comedy film based on the legendary Indonesian comedy group, and "Inang", a psychological thriller that marked his first horror film. "Balada si Roy" is an adaptation of a phenomenal coming-of-age novel from the 80s. All of his films have a socio-realistic view of Indonesian society today.

Synopsis
Huda, a fish thief in fish auction, decided to leave his home since his mother passed away in addition to abusive behavior of his alcoholic father. Harsh life in the auction site made Huda want to achieve his dream to catch the golden fish in sea.
Sri, a fish collector, is close with Huda and considers the ‘golden fish’ as a myth. However, Huda is becoming more confident that if he were to catch the golden fish, his life would be happier. In the end, Huda must choose whether to survive in the fish auction site with little hope or go to find the golden fish in desperation.

Khusnul Khitam
Khusnul K Hitam was born in 1982. His interest in cinema started When he was a child, he often watched movies with his father. He made his first short film at the age of 20, borrowing an old camera from a friend when he was in college. "Debt", "Ramadhan Charity Box", "Tikus" are some of the short films he wrote and directed. His first feature-length documentary, "Pulejajar", was presented at the documentary film festival-FFD and the WaterDocs International film festival. "Alang-alang (Sound From the Sea)" is his first feature-length film which was shot in his hometown on the north coast of Java Island using non-professional actors as the main characters.

Synopsis
Orpa (16) is a bookish Papuan girl who is to be married by her father to a wealthy man from Jayapura. Reluctant to her fate of becoming an obedient housewife, she decides to run away one night to pursue her dream of attending school in Wamena, where she wants to learn more about the medicinal effects of Papuan plants. During her journey she crosses paths with Ryan (28), a wannabe musician from Jakarta and agrees to take him to Wamena. Their travels are met with difficulties as they are chased by both Orpa’s father and the villages who accuses Ryan of running from murder.

Theo Rumansara was born on September 23 1989 in Biak, Papua. As the son of a diplomat, he spent most of the year abroad, living in countries such as the Netherlands, The Philippines and Australia.
Theo co-founded a local rap group named Waena’s Finest. He has released 3 mixtapes and his most notable song “Suara Hati Part 2” was watched by more than 1 million viewers on YouTube. In 2020 he won Jendela Papua, a talent scouting & filmmaking lab program which finally brought him closer to his chance to direct his first film "Orpa". Synopsis
A grandmother decided to become a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, his children and grandchildren came to visit. The 3.5-year-old granddaughter doesn’t want to go home and wants to stay with his grandmother to live and play in the forest. Day after day they spent together, until finally the granddaughter entered a forbidden area in the forest, making it difficult for her to find her way home. The grandmother failed to find her granddaughter and she decided to continue her meditation. After meeting the forest spirit guard who was carrying out a rite, the granddaughter managed to find her way home by following a puppy who led her to meet her grandmother again. Unfortunately, this time her grandmother never woke up again from samadi.

Adriyanto Dewo made his first short film in 2008, and went on to make several short films after that including “Menunggu Warna” (2011), which won best short film at the Hanoi International Film Festival. His first feature film, “Tabula Rasa” (2014) was screened at various film festivals including the Shanghai International Film Festival. He was also awarded Best Director at the 2014 Indonesian Film Festival. Lola Amaria
Lola Amaria, born in Jakarta on July 30, 1977, started her early career as an actress working with notable Indonesian directors and in various Asian co-productions. She began directing her first feature fiction "Betina" (2006) that won the NETPAC Award at Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF). Her second feature "Sunday Morning in Victoria Park" (2009) was nominated Best Southeast Asian Film at Cinemanila International Film Festival 2010, won the Silver Hanoman Award at JAFF and received nine nominations as well as one award for Best Editing from Festival Film Indonesia. She continued to produce and direct films that widely gained national recognition."Eksil" (2022) is her documentary directorial debut.
