Synopsis
Sinopsis
Enigmatic 17-year-old high school student Jooin is a cheerful friend, a shameless daughter, a mischievous girlfriend, and a person who is always hard to predict. But more than anything, Jooin is curious about and baffled by love. One day, some words she says in a fit of anger cause a major scene. Afterward, she receives anonymous notes questioning her behavior, and cracks begin to appear in her formerly peaceful world. “Jooin, who is the real you?”

Biografi Sutradara
Yoon Ga-eun
Born in 1982 in Seoul, YOON Ga-eun pursued a degree in History and Religious Studies at Sogang University before earning her MFA in Film, TV & Multimedia from the Korea National University of Arts. Her short film GUEST (2011) made history as the first Asian film to win the Grand Prix in the International Competition section at the 34th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. She continued to gain recognition when her next short film, SPROUT (2013), won the Best Short Film (Crystal Bear) Award at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival's Generation section. YOON's feature debut, THE WORLD OF US (2016), premiered at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival in the Berlinale Generation K-plus Competition section and received widespread international acclaim, winning numerous awards as a new director, including the prestigious Blue Dragon Film Awards, Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, and Baeksang Arts Awards. Her second feature, THE HOUSE OF US (2019), further solidified her reputation, earning invitations from acclaimed festivals such as the BFI London Film Festival, among many others.
THE WORLD OF LOVE (2025) is her third feature, presenting a new and expanded cinematic vision from director YOON Ga-eun. World Premiered at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival as the first Korean title to compete in the festival's Platform competition.
