Jason Iskandar is a Chinese-Indonesian screenwriter and director from Jakarta and the founder of Studio Antelope, a film production company in Indonesia. His works often explore themes of ethnic identity and socio-cultural dynamics within Indonesia. His acclaimed short films, including Seserahan, Langit Masih Gemuruh, and Elegi Melodi, have been screened at festivals such as Busan, Singapore, and Jogja-NETPAC. In 2021, he released his debut feature, Akhirat: A Love Story, a romantic fantasy made with BASE Entertainment.
