Synopsis
Sinopsis
Welle’ Ricina (Indah Amalia) escapes from the spirit realm’s palace and hides deep within the forest, fleeing from her husband, Sawerigading. During which she encounters Kahar Muzakkar (Alif Anggara), an Islamic freedom fighter who has just been killed in battle. A forbidden love blossoms between them, but their differing views on faith stand as an unbridgeable divide.

Biografi Sutradara
Rachmat Mustamin
Rachmat Mustamin is a writer, director, and performance artist currently based in Makassar, Indonesia. After completing his master’s degree in Film Creation at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Surakarta in 2019, he joined the Indonesian Writers Residency in Germany, supported by the National Book Committee. His works have been screened at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, the Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival in Canada, and the Salamindanaw Asian Film Festival. In 2022, his stage play “Sketches in the Inherited Garden” won the Rawayan Award from the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ).
