Director's Biography
Biografi Sutradara
Vu Nguyen Nam Khue
Khue is a Vietnamese filmmaker graduated in Media & Journalism (Newcastle University, United Kingdom). His graduation short film was screened in few Asia film festivals. In 2018, he won 2nd prize (CGV Scriptwriting contest). In the same year, he is selected in directing workshop (Autumn Meeting) under the mentorship of director Tran Anh Hung. In 2021, he participated in BIFAN - Bucheon International Fantastic Film School, and his feature project is selected by Locarno's Open Doors Consultancy. In 2023, his latest short film is screened in several international film festivals: Clermont-Ferrand IFF, Fribourg IFF, Tallinn Black Nights FF… He participates in Talents Tokyo program (Japan, 2023) and Full Circle Lab (Philippines, 2024) to develop his debut feature project. In 2024, this project won Grand Prix in HoChiMinh city IFF.
