This film tells the story of Permata, one of old movie theaters in Yogyakarta. It presents the establishment, golden era, until the collapse of the theater. A picture of hopelessnes in the midst of repression of modernity.

Biografi Sutradara
Ardi Wilda Irawan
He studied Communication at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). He directed several documentary films with media-related themes, including “Maaf, Bioskop Tutup” (2010) and “Menonton Penonton” (2014).
He is currently working as a private-sector employee at a technology company while also writing as a freelance author.
