Love Chaos Kin

Chithra Jeyaram [She/Her], a Tamil filmmaker and former physical therapist, creates films that find the extraordinary in everyday family resilience and love. As the lead producer of the Oscar-qualified short documentary AMMA'S PRIDE, she drives an impact campaign promoting unwavering parental support for trans people. Her feature documentary FOREIGN PUZZLE explores cancer, dance, and motherhood, and LOVE CHAOS KIN reframes multicultural adoption. An alumna of programs like the Chicken & Egg(celerator) Lab, Gotham Documentary Fellow, BGDM Artist Fellowship, and the Jerome Foundation grant, her work has been featured on PBS, 2M, CBSN, SXSW, BlackStar, and DOC NYC. Chithra is an adjunct faculty member at NYU, an avid runner, and calls Chennai and New York City home. She is writing her first screenplay, THE LONGEST SUMMER.
