Like A Rolling Stone

Born in Chongqing, Sichuan province, in 1973, Yin Lichuan is a writer, poet, and filmmaker. She studied French language and literature at Beijing University before pursuing a graduate degree in filmmaking at the École supérieure d’études cinématographiques (ESEC) in Paris. Yin first made her name writing novels and poetry, including A Little More Comfort and Fucker and was a founder of the Lower Body (下半身) poetry movement in the early 2000s. Her directorial debut, The Park, was produced as part of the Yunnan New Film Project and won the FIPRESCI Award at the 56th Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival in 2007.
