Synopsis

Saigon, 1985. Khang, a young translator rising within Vietnam’s new regime, is assigned to translate The Little Prince. His path seems secure — until he meets Ky Nam, the quiet widow next door, a remnant of the defeated South. When an accident leaves her unable to work, Khang steps in to help. What begins as an act of kindness evolves into a forbidden connection that challenges loyalty, desire, and the weight of history. In a society bound by duty, The Ky Nam Inn is a story of tenderness and longing in the shadows of a changing world.

Biografi Sutradara
Leon Le
Leon Le is a multidisciplinary artist whose career spans Broadway, international tours, film, and television. Trained in dance, singing, and acting, he transitioned to filmmaking with Dawn (2012) and Talking to My Mother (2015), both of which explore race and sexuality through Asian perspectives and have screened at over 100 festivals worldwide. His feature debut, Song Lang (2018), received widespread acclaim and over 50 international awards. The Hollywood Reporter called it “visually stunning and suitably yearning.” Le continues to create works bridging East and West, dividing his time between New York and Vietnam.
