Synopsis

Sinopsis

The documentary film “KAMI MASIH ADA” tells the story of two Indonesian veterans from Gorontalo who survived various battles in the past. Both veterans live out their old age engaging in various activities, such as gardening and farming. Various events in their lives make Agustinus Uada and Amir Gaga living proof of the sincerity of fighters in defending and protecting the Republic of Indonesia. As people who have experienced independence in the present era, it is necessary for the younger generation to continue to appreciate the services of veterans and carry on their struggle.

Abid Muhaimin Harun

Abid Harun is a filmmaker who specializes in creating compelling visual narratives through dynamic imagery, utilizing his strong command of lighting techniques and advanced videography tools. His sharp editorial instincts, honed through expert cinematography concepts, ensure that every project not only captures attention but also leaves a lasting impact. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gorontalo State University (2019-2023). Abid possesses technical expertise in Photography & Videography Techniques, and is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop software. His works include documentary films such as Tumbilotohe, Cahaya Iman (2022), Tanggomo (2021), and The End of Limboto Lake (2022), as well as films like 13 Koleksi Hitam (2024). He has achieved several accolades, including Second Place at the 2017 National Student Documentary Film Festival, Third Place at the 2020 Gorontalo Regional Islamic Short Movie Competition, and Third Place at the 2020 National Gebyar Mahasiswa Bidikmisi Nusantara (GEMBIRA) Short Movie Competition. In addition to his creative work, Abid is also active in organizations, having served as Head of the Media Division at Rumah Literasi Gorontalo and as a member of Generasi Baru Indonesia (GenBi) Beasiswa Bank Indonesia.
