Joko Anwar
Joko Anwar is an Indonesian film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor, born in Medan on January 3, 1976. He graduated from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1999 and began his career as a journalist and film critic before becoming a filmmaker. He is best known for directing popular films such as Satan’s Slaves (2017), Gundala (2019), and Joni’s Promise (2005).
