Synopsis
Sinopsis
A man tells a journalist about the photos and memories from his childhood in home and village that will soon disappear for the new national capital city. With his brother, he returns to the places they once played, taking pictures and recreating stories as if the land was still the same.

Maarij Reka
Maarij Reka (Cirebon, 2003) is a writer-director and film student majoring in Film and Television at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. He grew up in the suburban area, making works that reflect both social and personal experiences, told through mixed media and magical realism. He is currently developing his debut feature, “The Boy with His Mother’s Statue”, which received a development grant from Jakarta Film Week Producers Lab 2025.
