Dani Huda
Dani Huda (b. April 19, 1995, Bandung) is an Indonesian multidisciplinary artistprimarily focusing on film, visual, and sound art whose works delve into the subjects of human spirituality, mystics, meditation, and its relation with nature. He has been working in the realm of visuals and sound for over 11 years. Starting as a fashion photographer, he transitioned internationally in 2014 to direct fashion films, music videos, and commercials. His work has won numerous awards, including a Piala Maya for Best Music Video (2022) and accolades for his feature film ORPA (2022) and Memori Dia. Recently, Huda opened Merasa: 7 Days of Regeneration co-curated by Erykah Badu at Desa Potato Head - Bali, with a cinematic performance, a journey beyond traditional storytelling that intertwines cinema and live performance. He was also a finalist for the 6th VH Award by Hyundai Motor Group. After participating in the Apichatpong Weerasethakul Lab: Filming in the Amazon Jungle in 2022, he continued to expand his creative horizons. Huda currently lives and works in Bali, Indonesia.
