Synopsis

Sinopsis

After being abandoned by her mother at a bus stop in the city of Seoul, 7-year-old Jia has nowhere to go. As the night gets darker, she sees light in a stranger, an illegal South Asian immigrant stuck in South Korea after unsuccessfully performing “Donkey Flight”. The unlikely pair survives the night by forming an unusual connection through brave, at times difficult, choices.

Ali Sohail Jaura

Ali Sohail Jaura is an independent filmmaker from Karachi, Pakistan. His recent short film, "Murder Tongue," has won 25 international awards, including "Best International Short Film" at the 39th Miami Film Festival, and has been screened at more than 60 film festivals, including five Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide. His most recent project is a groundbreaking short film shot in Seoul, South Korea.
