Synopsis
Sinopsis
With hopes of a brighter future, Chun and Mei journey from Vietnam to Taiwan to study. But their dream quickly unravels when they become victims of a scam. Caught between ambition and despair, Chun searches for a new path, only to discover how fragile hope can be.

Biografi Sutradara
Ben Oui
Born in Sarawak, Malaysia, Ben Oui studied film at Shih Hsin University in Taiwan. Moving between Taipei and his hometown Kuching, Sarawak, he draws inspiration from the contrasts and connections between the two places. His films reflect on identity, alienation, and the hidden fractures of modern life. A Better Place marks his debut feature.
