Belantara Films berupaya menghidupkan kembali nilai-nilai masa lalu dalam setiap karyanya. Pendekatan ini melibatkan penggunaan unsur-unsur seperti barang antik, figur bersejarah, dan ruang museum sebagai elemen integral. Program ini secara khusus menyoroti bagaimana Belantara memvisualisasikan barang-barang antik sebagai komponen penting dari segi estetika, narasi, dan pesan budaya film. Proses kreatif Belantara melibatkan riset mendalam terhadap objek lama yang kaya akan kisah dan makna. Setiap film yang dihasilkan berfungsi sebagai dokumentasi dan pelestarian nilai-nilai lampau. Melalui sudut pandang sinematik, Belantara Films membuktikan bahwa film adalah medium yang efektif untuk mengarsipkan memori dan menjamin keberlanjutan warisan budaya.

Director of Belantara Films
Agni Tirta is a film director and producer from Yogyakarta, active in Indonesian independent and documentary cinema. His works contemplate human relation to time, space, and culture. As the founder of Yayasan Belantara Film, he engages in cultural research projects, community training, and film production rooted in local cultural practices. Agni also significantly strengthened Yogyakarta's film ecosystem by serving as Chairman of the Paguyuban Filmmaker Yogyakarta for two periods, and now focuses on developing networks and empowering independent film communities.
Reffi Sentiko
Secretary of Belantara Films
Reffi Sentiko is a film producer from Yogyakarta focusing on personal narratives, local culture, and social issues. He is involved in various fiction and documentary projects with Belantara Film. One film he produced was an Official Selection at JAFF and entered the Main Competition of the International Film Festival for Youth and Children KINOLUB Poland 2025. Reffi also actively develops community activities and creative collaboration spaces for young filmmakers through community-based programs.
