Garin Nugroho
Born in Yogyakarta in 1961, he completed his studies at the Jakarta Institute of Arts in 1985. His debut film, “Cinta dalam Sepotong Roti” (1991), received the Best Young Director award at the Asia Pacific International Film Festival. In 1994, his film titled “Surat untuk Bidadari” won Best Film at the Taormina Film Festival and the Tokyo International Film Festival. Meanwhile, in 1998, through his film “Daun di atas Bantal” which won the Special Jury Prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, his name skyrocketed and he became widely known at various international film festival events. In celebration of Mozart's 250th anniversary in 2006, Garin was selected as one of the 6 ‘Innovative Directors’ in the world.
Jajang C Noer
Jajang C Noer is an Indonesian actress who has been active in the film industry for more than five decades. Jajang C Noer has received various awards in the film industry; in the film Bibir Mer, she won the Citra Cup for Best Supporting Actress at the Indonesian Film Festival in 1992. She also received the Best Actress category in 2003 at the Deauville Asian Film Festival for the film Eliana, Eliana. In 2019, Jajang received the Life Achievement Award from the Indonesian Movie Actors Awards, followed by the Lifetime Dedication Award from the Indonesian Film Festival in 2021.
Wong Tuck Cheong
Wong Tuck Cheong runs Kelab Seni Filem Malaysia (KSFM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KSFM is acineclub screening a regular program of international arthouse films. It also organizes special film events and film retrospectives in collaboration with partners like the Goethe-Institut, Alliance Francaise, Wayang Budiman and the European Union NIC. He has served as a member of the advisory board of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema).
Kim Dong Ho
KIM Dong-Ho, born in 1937, is the founder and former chairman of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). After holding various positions at the Ministry of Culture and Communication, he was named in 1988 president of the Korean Motion Picture Promotion Corporation (now Korean Film Council). During his tenure, he actively promoted Korean films internationally and co-founded NETPAC to promote Asian cinema. In 1996, he founded BIFF and developed it into the premier film event in Asia, serving as the president of the festival for 15 years followed by his position as Honorary Festival Director and Chairman until 2017. He made his directing debut with a short film titled “Jury” in 2012.

Budi Irawanto, PhD, is the Head of the Performing and Fine Arts Studies Doctoral Program at the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada, where he also teaches in the Department of Communication Science, FISIPOL. He is also the President of the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) and has been a jury member for various international film festivals in Germany, South Korea, the Philippines, and India.
