Workshop JAFF Kids “Animator Cilik Stop Motion”
Animator Cilik Stop Motion” is a creative process designed to introduce children (ages 5–12) to the world of animation in a fun and hands-on way. Participants will learn how to bring inanimate objects to life starting from their favorite toys or everyday items around them by creating stop motion animations using a smartphone camera.
The children will go through the entire mini-film production process, beginning with story ideas and simple storyboarding, followed by preparing backgrounds and characters, and finally conducting photo sessions. In the final stage, they will learn how to edit the photo sequences into a short film lasting about 5–15 seconds.

Alfi Zachkyelle
Alfi Zachkyelle, born in Jakarta in September 1977, is the Founder and Chief Monsters Officer of PT Kampoong Monster Indonesia. The company includes Kampoong Monster Studio, KAMONS SCHOOL, Kampoong Meong, Kampoong Pusaka Mitologi Nuswantara, KAMONS Hobbies, and Mythosickomik Publishing. His creative enterprise specializes in IP development across media platforms.
Since 1996, Alfi has created comics through the Sekte Komik community at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts (IKJ). Over the years, he has produced about 50 comic titles published both locally and internationally, and directed and produced 40 animated works, including series, short films, and music videos. Drawing on decades of experience in the creative and advertising industries, Alfi currently teaches as a practitioner at various universities and schools.
In 2010, his comics Vienetta feat The Stupid Aliens: Lagu untuk Foja and Dua Warna, published by Koloni, M&C! Gramedia, were adapted into the animated series Vatalla Sang Pelindung by Trans7. This marked the beginning of the Kampoong Monster Universe.
Beyond his creative work, Alfi is a cultural researcher, spiritualist, and keris crafter (also known as a bladesmith). He founded Besalen Sarpapralaya Design & Sacred Blade Smith, a workshop dedicated to both forging keris and traditional heirlooms, as well as serving as a center for research on mythology and culture. He also created the virtual band VFSA and the virtual orchestra Singularium Sarpadurga – The Kindergarten Orchestra.
Alfi, currently a student at Yogyakarta and Surakarta Institutes of the Arts, lives in Yogyakarta. He bridges modern animation and comics with the cultural wisdom of Indonesia.
