Inside the Machine: Understanding How Festivals Work (Talks with HOD)
In every festival celebration, there is a complex collaboration behind the scenes from building narratives and curating programs, to managing logistics, and creating memorable public experiences. However, this process often remains unseen by the wider audience. This program brings together speakers from various fields of festival work including curation, production, and audience management to share their experiences, strategies, and reflections on building and celebrating a festival. It also offers the public an opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of festival organization, from program development to the technical preparations involved in festival execution.
