Synopsis
Sinopsis

In the bustling urban jungle of Taipei, true human connections are scarce. A vacant luxury apartment becomes a space for casual encounters, where three individuals, each leading a solitary life, unknowingly share the same roof. A series of comical incidents unfolds, highlighting their desperate search for intimacy and warmth amidst urban isolation. Echoing Michelangelo Antonioni’s exploration of urban ennui, this film poignantly captures the loneliness of modern life, earning TSAI Ming-liang the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival.
