Elijah (45),  predicts the end of the world for the third time, and his congregation waits once more. His daughter, Talitha (16), has stopped waiting. In secret, she runs Midheaven, an illegal simulation that lets people feel heaven, and lets her see her late mother again. As the promised day passes and the chairs empty, father and daughter are left grieving the same person, each with a different idea of heaven.
