Let Us Through, Dear Ancestors

Makikiraan Po

151 minutes | 2026 | Philippines | Drama | Filipino

SYNOPSIS

The Philippines was forcefully reconstructed by imperial Spain via copious sex (we now call rape), gluttonous appetite (we now call plunder), and the promise of salvation (we now call cataclysm). The 17th century was a period of continual building of churches in the Philippines, and thousands of natives, especially males, died because of forced labor.
