This program serves as a discussion forum between film communities and the Indonesian Drone Pilot Association (APDI), focusing on drone technology advancement, sectoral application, and national airspace regulations. The forum will address legal implementation and underscore the community’s role in advocating for safe, responsible drone use. Furthermore, it highlights the community’s effort in driving education and proposing national drone certification to enhance professionalism and aviation safety.

Bion Menarko, M.H.
Head of Certification & Education Division of APDI
Born and raised in Surabaya, the speaker holds an S2 Law degree from UNAIR and has resided in Sleman, Yogyakarta since 2010. Their interest in drones started in 2016, leading to them joining APDI in 2019 and becoming an instructor in 2022. They currently hold the strategic roles of Head of Public Relations (2023) and Head of Certification and Education (2025) at APDI Central.
Pius Rino Pungkiawan, S.Sn., M.Sn.
Head of Public Relations Division of APDI
Pius Rino Pungkiawan serves as the Head of Public Relations for APDI (2025-2030) and is an APDI Instructor. He has been active in APDI since 2021. Additionally, he is a permanent lecturer in the Film and Television Study Program at the Faculty of Recorded Media Arts, Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta.
