Four Seasons In Java

After spending more than a decade in prison for a murder she never intended to commit, Pertiwi returns to her hometown quietly, with no one waiting to welcome her. Once a teenage girl who dared to defend herself against violence, she now finds a village cloaked in silence and fear. What was once home now belongs to the very men who sent her to prison.

Her parents have moved on. Her ex-boyfriend has married her best friend. And her only companions-an elderly woman in isolation, a friend deemed insane, and a deaf teenage girl named Raras-are all outsiders, just like her.

But something in the village has changed, and something has not.

Strange things begin to happen when the electricity goes out, old, discarded electronic items flicker back to life, and a monster begins to follow her.
