Henry Foundation
Henry Foundation is a musician and visual artist based in Jakarta. Best known as the founder and member of the electro-pop band Goodnight Electric, his works are rooted in pop culture, urban subcultures, and the rhythms of city life. Beyond music, Henry explores visual and video media, blending nostalgic aesthetics with contemporary perspectives. He also runs HFMF Records and curates Mayhem Extended, an indie disco party that has become an essential part of Jakarta’s alternative music scene since the early 2000s.
His documentary “White Shoes & The Couples Company in Cikini” (2016) reflects his ongoing exploration of the intersections between music, place, and collective memory.
