Sinopsis
“Sholat Jowo” in Reksonegoro Village, chants of praise from the verses in the Al-Barzanji book. This Sholawat tradition was brought by Kiai Modjo after he was exiled to Tondano following the Diponegoro War. Mohamad Wonopatih and the people of Reksonegoro Village strive to preserve this tradition amid the changing times, with the aim of maintaining the existence and recognition of the Tondano Javanese tribe.

Derry Dai, born in Gorontalo on June 13, 2001, is a director who pioneered Project Barat as a documentary film production house that focuses on the creative process. His film works include documentaries such as Malang Groundstration (2023), Menjaring Harap Nun Jauh (2024), Kitchen: POV (2025), and Lantunan di Tanah Pengasingan (2025).
