Glenn Barit
Glenn Barit is a Filipino filmmaker, sound designer, and composer whose works often explore themes of identity, class struggle, and regionalism—usually through a playful lens. His debut feature film, Cleaners, won Best Film, Best Screenplay, and the Audience Choice Award at QCinema IFF 2019, and has since screened at Busan IFF, Taipei Golden Horse FF, Torino FF, and other festivals. He is currently developing his next feature, Luzonensis and Floresiensis, a story about Southeast Asian migrant workers in Spain—a clash between the prehistoric and the postcolonial.
