DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Thien An Nguyen
Born on June 28th, 1998, in Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyễn Thiên Ân is a Vietnamese filmmaker. His films offer a satirical lens on society, where drama stems from social paradoxes and challenges.
His latest short, The Dream is a Snail, supported by the ‘CJ Short Filmmaking Support Program in Vietnam’, premiered in competition at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, marking his emergence on the international stage.
