SYNOPSIS
Ever since his Mom (Rieke Diah Pitaloka) passed away, she has been visiting him in his dreams. Taking it as a sign, Hikmah (Ari Irham) decides he needs to win God over so she can finally rest in peace. Joined by his childhood best friend, Hotib (Teuku Ryzki), and his interfaith girlfriend, Sophia (Lutesha), Hikmah sets out on a heartfelt journey to figure out what ‘letting go’ and ‘faith’ really mean- things he’s never quite figured out his whole life.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Cesa David Luckmansyah
Cesa David Luckmansyah is a filmmaker, film editor, and educator with over two decades of experience and more than 140 film credits. A four-time Citra Award winner for Best Film Editing, he is also a co-founder of INAFEd (Indonesian Film Editors) and Reparasi Film. After years as an editor, Cesa makes his directorial debut with Seni Merayu Tuhan, which was released in cinemas across Indonesia on August 13, 2026.
