ismailBASBETH
Ismail Basbeth is an acclaimed Indonesian filmmaker bridging arthouse and commercial cinema. In 2015, Another Trip to the Moon competed in International Film Festival Rotterdam’s Tiger Competition, and The Crescent Moon (Mencari Hilal) premiered at Tokyo International Film Festival. His latest feature, My Own Last Supper (Rencana Besar untuk Mati dengan Tenang), was selected for the Golden Goblet Main Competition at the 28th Shanghai International Film Festival (2026).
