SYNOPSIS
A recently deceased dad left a family of a mother (Kalyan) and a son (Kosal) alone in a slum building. Kosal, a 15-year-old seeking warmth and love, takes responsibility for caring for his Ahp mom. He later finds a friend who he connects well with. Bora, a 13-year-old, shows up at his house and meets Kosal’s mom. Now he faces a choice: his mom or his new friend. Who will Kosal choose?

Sana Oung Ty
Sana is a Phnom Penh-based multidisciplinary storyteller working across film, photography, data visualization, and community events. His practice is driven by a single question: how do we help people understand each other better? Film has always been his real passion. He believes it’s the ultimate form of communication, and he builds narratives grounded in human behavior, especially the moments when character reveals itself.
