Tumbang Titi Kota Juang

This documentary tells the story of the struggle of the Tumbang Titi people against Dutch colonialism which oppressed them through demands for blasting (taxes) that the people were unable to pay. There are three heroes who are tried to be highlighted in this documentary, namely, Uti Usman, Tentemak and Kenduruhan Bajir. The resistance led by Uti Usman as a descendant of the king in the area, left behind memories of struggle and bloodshed.

The people of Tumbang Titi tried to use a war strategy that was beyond its time by making tents on trees to ambush the Dutch, and also making a defensive fort. Through interviews from various native descendants of the fighters involved, as well as historians and strengthened by authentic evidence from Dutch newspapers from that year, this documentary tries to summarize the struggle that took place.
