Synopsis
Sinopsis
Eka Wati, a Dayak Pitap indigenous youth who survives on the wealth of her ancestral land, in Pitap Village, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan. As a woman, Eka protects her customary land in her own way. Anang, a Dayak Pitap youth who fights for his ancestral land from the extractive industry that still has permission from the government. This movie is a simple statement from two perspectives of Dayak Pitap’s young men and women towards their inherited land.

Biografi Sutradara
Rifky Muhammad
Rifky Muhammad is one of the main members of Forum Sineas Banua, an independent film community based in Banjarmasin. Rifky explores both fiction and documentary filmmaking through his leading role. Rifky’s interest in filmmaking started in 2016 when he was a student and started making short documentaries in 2018. In addition, he also works professionally as a Film Director & Assistant Director. Rifky actively raises issues of inclusivity, environment, and humanity through his film projects. Recently, he joined Garin Nugroho’s film crew as Production Designer for Badrun & Loundri (2023), and he directed a documentary project with Greenpeace Indonesia titled Imaji Tanah Leluhur (2024). Rifky is also active as a part-time teacher who teaches how to make movies.
