Synopsis
Sinopsis
In a coastal village destined to become the new capital city of Indonesia, Laila, a junior high school girl, escapes on her boat. She is determined not to return to the land until her wedding plans are canceled.

Wucha Wulan Dari
Wucha Wulandari completed her studies in Film and Television at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. She pursued her master's in Cultural Sciences Anthropology at Gadjah Mada University. Her concerns about social culture, gender equity, and coming-of-age issues drive her passion for crafting films with a distinctive storytelling perspective. Her first short film, "POTRET," was selected for prestigious festivals such as Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival, IFF Australia, Piala Maya, XXI Short Film Festival, and SeeShorts Film Festival. Her documentary, "Seruni Putih" (2017), also secured the Best Documentary award at the Amartha Short Film Festival.
