Yasamin Molaei is an independent filmmaker from Iran. She wrote, directed, and produced her short film Mahi, which explores a child’s experience of grief through a restrained, visually driven narrative. Her filmmaking is informed by personal experiences and an interest in the emotional realities of everyday life.
