SYNOPSIS
The fragrant aroma of spices from the archipelago wafted to the farthest corners of the globe. Spices were valued as much as gold; they acted as a magnet, sparking competition among nations to find a gateway to this world. Times have changed; the era of exploration and the drive to dominate the spice lands have given way to a race for technological supremacy.
