SYNOPSIS
In Yogyakarta and the rural highlands of Samigaluh, Indonesia, two punk musicians shape simple yet conscious lives. Hendi teaches at the alternative school SALAM while raising his son; Cathak runs the small coffee stall Mupangati and tends to mountain springs with his community. Discordia captures the meeting point of punk, family, nature, and responsibility through silence, small joys, and the layered rhythm of everyday life.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Dery Prananda
Dery Prananda is a filmmaker and educator based in Yogyakarta. His films explore everyday life, cultural landscapes, and social issues through intimate encounters with people and their surroundings. His work spans creative documentaries and short fiction films screened at various international film festivals. He holds a Master of Arts degree and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Art Creation at ISI Surakarta, where his research focuses on docufiction.
