A family photograph from Yasukuni Shrine and archival records from Australia are the only traces of the artist’s grandfather, who was mobilized from colonial Taiwan during World War II. Moving through these fragments, the film reconstructs a life dispersed across personal and institutional archives. Through reversals and shifting perspectives, it reveals what remains unseen, proposing memory as something emerging between visibility and obscurity.
