Leleng
9 minutes | 2025 | Indonesia | Animation | Indonesian
SYNOPSIS
Leleng, one of ‘the tree mothers’ of the barren forest in the far corner of Borneo, is moaning, crying a sorrowful voice, after being separated from her one and only descendant by the strange old man, the forest guardian. Her hope is drifting with her circular dance like an ancient ritual, along with the hoarse voice of a hornbill as a sign bearer from the sky.
