Sinopsis
Di pegunungan terpencil dekat perbatasan Tiongkok–Myanmar, Hani, seorang anak laki-laki berusia 14 tahun, dan Pushiha, seorang gadis berusia 12 tahun, berjuang untuk mengumpulkan uang mahar pernikahan mereka. Pushiha mencoba menipu seorang guru program pengentasan kemiskinan dari Beijing agar memberinya uang, sementara Hani menempuh jalan kekerasan—jalan tanpa jalan kembali.

Biografi Sutradara
Dasheng Hou
Independent director and screenwriter, with a Master’s degree in Ethnic Policy Management. He is an alumnus of the 16th session of the Li Xianting Film School. His debut feature film as director and screenwriter, Hani, was selected for the Critics’ Picks Competition at the 28th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. The film also entered the Works-in-Progress section of the HAF Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum, and was showcased in the “Goes to Cannes” program of the Marché du Film at Cannes.
As a screenwriter, his project SINK CITY was selected for the 7th HAF Lab, where it won the Script Consultation Award, and later entered the IDP section of the HAF Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum.
