SUINTRAH

Jor (65) and his son Nayak (12) moved to a village called Suintrah which had an unusual hereditary rule: “Everybody should only speak with a low voice”, but they could express themselves in any other way as long as it wasn’t through words. This meant that screaming, crying, tantrums, and commotion were allowed with normal volume. Of course, outside of the village border separated by a river and a bridge, this rule no longer applies. Given that this rule has been carried out for generations, it has become a normal thing that has been done easily by the local people. If anyone breaks this rule, a certain invisible and scary presence will make them disappear forever.
