Synopsis
Sinopsis
In a fishing village in Indonesia, the harsh realities of climate change have left their mark, dramatically altering life as its inhabitants knew it. Among them is Marno, a resilient man haunted by the memory of a calamitous storm from a year ago that robbed him of everything he once held dear. As he endeavors to rebuild and mend the fraying ties with his wife, his relationship with their only son remains his sole beacon of hope. Yet, beneath his persevering facade lies a tangle of grief and deep-seated denial. Avoiding the stark truth of his past, Marno’s sorrow tightens its grip, pushing him closer to the precipice of mental collapse. The tale is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the profound impact of unresolved trauma.

Biografi Sutradara
Janice Angelica
Janice Angelica is a filmmaker with passion for exploring social and mental health themes. As a graduate of Beijing Film Academy, Janice has created award-winning short films and commercials.
Her experience includes collaborating on feature film co-productions between China and Indonesia, and producing fiction in countries such as Colombia and Kenya.
Janice is currently developing her first feature film. Her recent short, "Lost Heartbeat," was selected for Shanghai International Film Festival.
