SYNOPSIS
ENGLISH Shortly before the dawn of People’s Republic of China, a young Kuomintang soldier finds himself trapped in Taiwan while trying to save the life of a higher-ranking officer, hopelessly cut off from his family. Old songs coming out of a red envelope club bring back the mood of nostalgia; for a generation born into war, raised in endless drifting yet as tough as wild grass, the return home has become a lifetime longing…
