Triggered by an old family photograph, a young adult named Azka starts to trace back their childhood – a stage of life when they began learning about the world around them and themselves. While revisiting these long-forgotten memories, Azka discovers unresolved pains they never knew existed. This experience marks the beginning of a journey that unfolds profound self-acceptance.

"Asarela Orchidia Dewi is an Indonesian filmmaker who’s currently living in Berlin. They received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design from the University of Applied Science Berlin.
Due to their nomadic life as a child and their gender identity, the experience and feelings of alienation in various facets become Asarela’s main inspiration. Through unconventional approaches, Asarela’s work often deals with the topic of identity and youth.
In 2018, Asarela co-produced the film Tauchen Lernen, which was selected for the “Wir sind 100!”, a Film Festival organized by The Foundation For the Social Pedagogical Institute Berlin."
