Sinopsis
The Minangkabau tribe is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia which is known to have a strong culture in society. By maintaining customary and traditional values, as well as practicing principles such as deliberation for consensus and the adat principle of perpatih, the Minangkabau people have long since succeeded in forming a strong and systematic settlement system.

Biografi Sutradara
Afif Fahmi
Afif Fahmi was born on Sapudi Island - Indonesia, December 1996. He is a Film & TV graduate at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. Has directed several short fiction and documentary films. In making films, he focuses a lot on the relationship between humans and nature. His film 'Sampun Jawah' competed at the 2018 Sjon International Anthropological Film Festival (Denmark) and was nominated (Best College Film) at the 2019 Strasburg Film Festival (USA). His last film 'Human vs Elephant' was (Best Film) at the Denpasar Documentary Film Festival 2020, Bandung Independent Film Festival 2021, and won (Gaia Award) at the Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary 2021.
Dwi Kurnia Sandy
Dwi Kurnia Sandy was born and raised in Payakumbuh on April 4, 1997. Since college, he's been interested in archaeology, especially Minangkabau cultural remains. Currently, she is focusing on studying the spatial layout of the Minangkabau Traditional Village.
