Synopsis
Sinopsis
A young man sets out on a train journey along a railway route that was previously utilized for transporting sugar in colonial times. While taking a short nap, he encounters an unusual dance and visions from the past, drawing him further into his concealed ancestral memories. As he explores the deserted sugar industry in a dreamlike state, he confronts the spirits, wounds, and venom embodied in his motions.

Biografi Sutradara
Timoteus Anggawan Kusno
Timoteus Anggawan Kusno is a visual artist and researcher who works with installation and filmmaking. He renders narratives stretching in the liminality of fiction, history, imagination, and memory. He is a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam. Kusno's work has been exhibited and screened at prestigious institutions around the world, including the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Mumbai City Museum, Brussels Center for Fine Art, Inside-Out Art Museum Beijing, ILHAM Gallery Kuala Lumpur, Centre d'Art Contemporain Genève, and CPH: DOX at Kunsthalle Charlottenborg, Copenhagen, Denmark, among others. The Han Nefkens Foundation awarded Kusno the Video Production Award ---Loop Barcelona in 2021.
