Passing

Gisela Levy is an Indonesian filmmaker whose films often revolve around the feeling of loss and longing. She works as an assistant director, working on various projects such as commercials, web series and music videos. During her days off, she writes and directs her own short films including A Daughter’s Lullaby (2022) which was selected in Bali International Film Festival (Balinale) and Jakarta Film Week 2022, and Passing (2023) which won the second place of Europe on Screen Short Film Pitching Project 2022. She is also an alumni of ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY 2019. At the moment, Gisela is involved in a Screenwriting Fellowship held by Netflix and Soda Machine Film, working on a feature film script under Lucky Kuswandi as the mentor.
