Sinopsis
Jamba Junglai Titis Teramba, “A man dies leaving his customs” is the motto of the Talang Mamak Tribe. Inevitably, modernization has taken hold of the Talang Mamak tribe in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau province. Pak Model as a customary leader (Batin) admits that many of his traditions and customs have been forgotten due to modernization. However, Batin Pak Model, who still adheres to the old ways, also participates in the current modernization practices. Guided by the motto, if during life humans do not carry out existing customs, then what else should be passed on to their descendants?

Filda Leri
Filda Leri was born in Riau. This Malay woman started to find her interest for documentaries while she was studying at the Yogyakarta Institute of the Art, majoring in Film and Television. Even though her parents are not into arts, the woman, who prefers to be called Leri since she was still in high school, has actively participated in theaters and film productions.
Her interest in cultural issues and people has encouraged her to be a short documentary film director. Leri defines documentary as her journey to add a new family and transmit positive energy so that she considers every documentary filmmaker as the happiest person.
