Sosak – Land, Shade and Sulaiman’s Sleeping Sickness

Inside a house in an isolated area in thousands hectares of fertile land. Maryam (35) struggling to know how to cure her son’s sleeping sickness. It’s a disease as well as a power that has been passed on to the male generation in her household, namely burning the forest in their sleep. Forest fires occur together with the severe symptoms of sleeping sickness. Maryam never lost hope to cure his son, until finally she was invited by the village chairman to meet the landlord, the only person who knew the way to escape from her dilemma. In their meeting, the landlord said that his son’s sickness didn’t need to be cured but it is better inherited.
